BoneHear is a bone conduction hearing aid app that processes audio in real-time using your device's microphone and outputs enhanced audio through bone conduction headphones. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Collection

BoneHear does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app operates entirely on your device.

Audio Data

The app accesses your device's microphone solely to capture ambient sound for real-time audio passthrough. Audio is processed locally on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

Permissions

The app requires the following permissions:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Required to capture ambient sound for real-time audio passthrough.
• Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): Required to connect to bone conduction headphones for audio output.
• Internet (INTERNET): Required for subscription management via Google Play Billing. No user data is transmitted to our servers.
• Foreground Service: Required to keep the audio processing running while the app is in use.
• Notification: Used to display service status and controls.

Third-Party Services

BoneHear uses Google Play Billing to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. Google may collect purchase and transaction data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your payment details (e.g., credit card numbers).

BoneHear does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
